The Challenge
NES Fircroft is a global engineering staffing business operating across multiple regions and service lines. The analytics function needed an embedded partner who could both manage the Microsoft Fabric data platform at an engineering level and translate complex business requirements into decision-ready Power BI solutions.
The scale and variety of reporting requirements — internal performance, client-facing dashboards, regulatory views — demanded consistent quality across a large and growing volume of deliverables, with no dedicated internal resource to own it.
The Approach

Operated as the embedded IT Business Partner and Data Analytics Lead — attending leadership meetings, owning the data roadmap, and managing the analytics delivery backlog

Managed and evolved the Microsoft Fabric platform — data engineering, pipeline maintenance, data quality governance, and semantic model management

Delivered Power BI dashboards and Power Platform solutions across internal and client-facing use cases, working directly with business stakeholders to translate requirements into clear outputs
